OUR MISSION
King-Johnson Adult Family Home, LLC is a state licensed Adult Family Home.
We are committed to serving people who have disabilities and/or are elderly within a community-based, residential settings. We provide affordable, comfortable, and accessible housing, links to public services, and trained support staff to assist in daily activities, decision making, and actualization of personal choices and goals. We provide services to people throughout their lives with respect and careful attention to maintaining their personal dignity.
The home located in the City of Beloit with quick and easy access to community activities and services. Examples of in-home activities include the following:
1.) Reading to Residents
2.) Bingo, Board and Trivia Games
3.) Balloon Volleyball/Bean Bag Toss
4.) Morning Stretches and Easy Stretch Yoga
5.) Story Time/Popcorn
6.) Arts and Crafts
7.) Lagos/Puzzles and More
8.) Good old Days
Examples of community outings include the following:
1.) Picnics and Walks in Parks
2.) Community Events
3.) Summer and Winter Farmer’s Markets
4.) Church
5.) Concerts/Plays
6.) Trips to Senior Centers (Grinnell Hall and Merrill Community Center)
7.) YWCA
We are a member of the Wisconsin Assisted Living Association (WALA), the largest trade association in Wisconsin representing the assisted living profession.
